Património sonoro e fotográfico em discussão na Torre do Tombo

No dia 18 de junho, entre as 14:30 e as 17:30, na Torre do Tombo, vai decorrer mais uma sessão da iniciativa SOS digital. O objetivo é abordar a temática do património sonoro e fonográfico através da identificação de problemas, campos de intervenção e questões técnicas estruturais que se colocam a quem trabalha nesta área, na perspetiva da digitalização no longo prazo.

Organizada pela Direção-Geral do Livro, dos Arquivos e das Bibliotecas em parceria com o Instituto de Etnomusicologia – Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança este evento está alinhado com o Projeto Continuidade digital.Participação: gratuita, mas sujeita a inscrição (enviar mensagem eletrónica para mario.santana@dglab.gov.pt , referindo: nome, entidade/serviço, designação “SOS digital” em assunto). Local de realização: Edifício do Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo, Alameda da Universidade, Lisboa. Data de realização: 18 de junho de 2015 (14h30 – 17h30)

Viver (Com) a Escrita

A iniciativa pretende colocar três autores em diálogo com o seu público, adequando os temas e a forma como o seu trabalho é apresentado à audiência em questão. João Morales coordena e modera as conversas.

No dia 20 de Setembro, às 16:00, com Gonçalo Cadilhe, na Biblioteca Manuel José do Tojal, em Santo André, para nos falar sobre as suas viagens.No dia 17 de Novembro, à tarde, com Inês Botelho, novamente na Biblioteca Manuel José do Tojal, em Santo André. Na sua companhia, alunos do concelho, para troca de impressões sobre o trabalho que tem vindo a desenvolver. No dia 21 de Novembro, de manhã, com Sílvia Alves na Biblioteca Manuel da Fonseca, em Santiago do Cacém, e alunos do 1º Ciclo, mostrando os seus livros e aprendendo com as leituras que eles lhes encontrarem. Organização: Câmara Municipal de Santiago do Cacém. Parceiros: Livraria A das Artes e Antena Miróbriga.

Proposals: title, abstract (500 words), 3 key-words and curriculum (200 words)

Goals: The Portuguese Group for History and Sport (GHD) gathers researchers from several institutions, with the main goal of promoting cooperation, research and studies in the field of sport history. The GHD also organizes events for History and Sport at the national and international levels. Also organizes an annual congress, whose goal is the discussion and the production of knowledge in the various aspects of the intersection of history and sport. The theme for the 2014 congress is Sport and War

Subject: In 2014 is the centenary of the Great War (1914-1918), a moment of rupture in the contemporary history of Portugal, Europe and the World. For that reason, the III Congress of History and Sport will be dedicated to Sport and War, in different perspectives, including social, economic, political, religious, media, culture, ethics, cultural, artistic, structural and others.

Call for papers: We seek abstracts of no more than 500 words from persons interested in participating in the II Congress of History and Sport. Please include three key words related to your proposed paper, a brief curriculum vita, academic affiliation and contact information (including email and telephone). Papers can be presented in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Proposals should be submitted via email to: historia.desporto@gmail.com

Important dates:April 28 – Closing deadline for proposalsMay 2 – Notification of abstract acceptanceMay 10 – Final program announced

Fees: Until May 25: 25 euros and 10 euros (students). After May 25: 35 euros and 20 euros (students)
